Design philosophy
It is a tough exercise for any architect to declare one's design philosophy. But I felt that you, my prospective client, would eager to learn about the personality hidden behind glossy web pages. But it is not mainly about my architectural and stylistic preferences (though I do have some!). It's about my distinctive creative principals, about design that can be both effective and valued through generations; it's about my style of work and about what you can expect of our collaborating.

Design. Total One.
Though I was formally trained as an Architect I subsequently possessed a Post-Graduate degree in Urban Design and further never locked myself in four walls of building volume. Too early I realized vast diversity of the objects contributed to a coherent human environment: landscapes spilling over into living interiors; retail interiors dramatically transformed with graphics of signage; intriguing complexity of urban fabric woven with buildings, trees, people and vehicles. Despite an extended knowledge in the fields represented in Portfolio and my striving for such "integral architecture" wherever possible I am still far from full practical implementation of this approach. Looking forward to our next project!

Architecture of Meaning
Deeply rooted in the doctrine developed by R. Venturi and D. Scott Brown this approach is in strong opposition to ultra-Modernistic, often cold and "anonymous" architecture prevailing at contemporary scene. I stand for understandable, easily recognizable architecture valued by its consumers. Architecture born not purely in an architect's imagination but grown from archetypical allusions and meaningful cultural connotations.

Excessive Design
There are increasingly strong, often nostalgic, public instincts toward abundant, excessive forms found in things of the past. I always try to use them by client’s demand and whenever budget permits but it may have nothing to do with a form or decoration at all. Function can be also "duplicable": when use of the element fails by any reason some "excessive" elements (which are normally of other uses) are deployed. So we can have architecture reflecting complexity of changing reality, adapting to this complexity and, thus, contributing to general sustainability.

Co-Designer Client
Yes, I always willingly invite my clients to be involved in design process and in unexpectedly non-Procrustean format. All your preferences, suggestions, samples and sketches are discussable and welcomed. I am even ready to improve on design of your own! Moreover, post-project feedback from you and from would-be users of our built environment is extremely appreciated.
