Jackson Place Phase One Development
Concept Proposal
Richmond, Virginia
Listed in
"America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Places" Jackson Ward
district is a challenging environment for any architectural intervention.
The main goal is not only to revitalize the neighborhood but at the same time
to supplement the nearby Greater Richmond Convention Center that adds to the
difficulty of the task.
Developed in collaboration with my associate firm OnestopDesign, Inc. the
proposal is currently in the process of being evaluated by the City
Authorities.

Commercial Center
Donetsk, Ukraine
The Commercial Center volume is stuffed with retail, fast-food and
entertainment establishments and stretched between two connected atriums. One
of them placed on a street corner and serves as a gate to the major
hypermarkets, groups of boutiques and food courts. A glazed space of the second
atrium which leads to multiplex theaters and sport facilities dissolves into
landscaped recreation land. The Center curvilinear forms support those of the
football stadium to be erected nearby.

Mixed-use building
Pacifica City, California
This modest tree-story multifamily / commercial building is planned for
erection on an extremely tight site adjacent to intersection of major streets.
The design planning solution effectively accommodates all required uses with
respect for pedestrians in the same time by employing a recessed ground floor
bulk. All units have tree-side orientation which conforms to the ocean views
prerequisite. Facades are differenced to give the building many
"faces" as it is seen from various directions.
